Why should my child see an orthodontist?
The goal of Early Treatment is to stay ahead of any developing problems in order to minimize more complicated and lengthy treatments down the road. A patient may require a second course of treatment after all permanent teeth have come in to move those teeth into their best positions and to achieve the best esthetic and functional result. Some common early corrections include:
Crowding
Deep Bite
Underbite
Over Bite
Protrusion
Crossbite
Oral Habits
Missing or Impacted Teeth
Early Loss of Baby Teeth

How often will I come back to the office?
After our doctors exam your child, they will determine if there are any issues that would indicate early treatment is necessary. If your child is not ready for treatment, they will recommend recall visits at 3 or 6 month intervals. Remember every visit until the start of treatment is complimentary!
